Terms of Service

For the website, member area and related services of SGA Connect

Last updated: 2026-07-08 · SGA

1. Scope and conclusion of contract

These Terms of Service govern the use of the services offered by SGA - Sovereign Global Alliance (SGA), in particular the public information site https://sga-connect.org and the SGA Connect platform (together the "Services" hereinafter).

Provider and contractual partner: SGA - Sovereign Global Alliance, Marcel Hermann Rappold, Bruder-Willram-Straße 7, 6300 Wörgl, Austria (the "Operator", "we" hereinafter). Legal basis of the mandate: Fourth Geneva Convention 1949 & Protocol I 1977.

By accessing protected areas, registering (in particular XRPL/Xaman login) or using functions you accept these terms. The user's deviating terms apply only if we expressly agree to them in writing.

A consumer within the meaning of these terms is any natural person who uses the platform for purposes that are predominantly neither commercial nor attributable to their independent professional activity (§ 1 Austrian Consumer Protection Act). An entrepreneur is a natural or legal person or a partnership with legal capacity who acts in the exercise of their commercial or independent professional activity when concluding the contract.

2. Public website (sga-connect.org)

https://sga-connect.org provides general information on the protected status of protected civilians under the Fourth Geneva Convention (lex scripta): foundations, practical examples, reference texts, downloads and seminar registration.

The content serves information and education. It does not replace individual legal advice. Users act on their own responsibility on the basis of the wording presented and their own review.

The non-harm principle applies: protected status does not entitle anyone to harm others or infringe third-party rights.

3. Foundation seminars GC IV

Seminars can be booked via the registration form on the website. Registration and stated consent to data processing constitute a seminar contract once a place is allocated.

Prices (as stated on the website): first attendance 250 EUR, repeat attendance 210 EUR. Payment terms are communicated in the booking confirmation.

Cancellations: seminars@sga-connect.org. Where "fully booked" notices appear there is no entitlement to a place; places that become available are allocated according to internal procedure.

Venue and exact times may be communicated after registration. Participants are responsible for their own travel to and from the event.

4. SGA platform — description of services

The platform provides technical infrastructure for members, purpose enterprises and authorised roles (e.g. protecting power, consular administration, platform administration). The specific scope of functions depends on your role, membership or contract status and the respective environment (development, staging, production).

Individual modules may be in development, pilot or demo phase. Labels such as "Demo", "Stub", "Pilot" or "Testnet" mean that services may be non-binding, limited or simulated.

  • Member area with role-based access control (ABAC) and permission matrix
  • XRPL/Xaman-based login (Web3 login) and identity binding
  • Management of purpose enterprises, master data, content and organisation websites
  • Optional modules: shop, accounting/EÜR, e-mail client, usage/cost overview, AI/speech services (Aethera), LiveKit audio/video
  • Payment and wallet functions (where enabled for your role)

5. Access requirements and registration (member area)

Use requires a valid invitation, membership or other activation by the Operator, unless a public area is expressly offered.

You must be at least 14 years old. Minors between 14 and 18 may use the platform only with the consent of their legal representatives.

You are obliged to provide truthful information where master data or applications are required and to keep it up to date.

6. XRPL, Xaman and wallet login

Login may take place via XRPL wallet authentication (e.g. Xaman, formerly XUMM). You may only use wallets, devices and signing means (e.g. cards) that you control yourself.

The Operator does not store wallet seeds, private keys or passwords of your wallet app. You are solely responsible for their secure storage, for checking transactions in the wallet app and for damage from phishing, malware or device loss.

For session management and permission assignment we may store a pseudonymous or persistent identity (XID), your XRPL address, signature proofs, roles and permissions. Development environments may use XRPL Testnet; separate notices from the Operator apply for production.

You must not impersonate identities, roles or permissions, use third-party wallets without authorisation or circumvent security mechanisms (rate limits, ABAC, quorum, signature checks).

Use of Xaman/XUMM is additionally subject to the terms of the wallet provider (Xumm BV, Netherlands). The Operator is not a contractual party of the wallet app.

Technical login issues (QR, wallet, session): support@sga-connect.org

7. User obligations

You undertake in particular:

  • to use protected areas, "lex scripta" content and administrative functions only within the scope of your role
  • not to transmit or publish unlawful, offensive, discriminatory or harmful content
  • not to deploy malware, unauthorised automated access (scraping, brute force) or disruption of the platform
  • not to treat demo, test and simulation data as legally binding declarations of intent, payment instructions or official documents unless expressly marked as production
  • to comply with applicable law, in particular for payments, e-mail dispatch and publication of content

8. Payments, shop and wallet

Where shop, wallet or payment functions are active, bookings are made according to amounts, currencies and processes displayed in the system. Supported payment methods (e.g. fiat via payment service provider, XRPL, internal credit) are available only when expressly enabled.

Payments via external service providers (e.g. Stripe) are also subject to their terms. The Operator is not responsible for outages, fees or chargebacks of the payment service provider, to the extent permitted by law.

Blockchain transactions on the XRP Ledger (XRPL) are generally irrevocable. You verify recipient, amount and network (Mainnet/Testnet) before each confirmation in the wallet.

Cancellations, refunds and credits follow the processes documented in the system, your role and — for consumers — mandatory statutory provisions.

9. E-mail, AI and speech services

In the e-mail module you are responsible for content, recipient lists, consents (e.g. newsletter) and compliance with anti-spam rules where you act as sender.

AI-assisted functions (e.g. Aethera, translation suggestions, speech output) serve as support. They do not replace legal, tax, medical or other professional advice. You review AI output before binding use.

When using LiveKit audio/video, conversation data may be transmitted via third-party infrastructure; see the privacy policy for details.

10. Intellectual property and user content

Software, trademarks, templates, schemas, documentation and standard UI of the platform remain with the Operator or authorised licensors. Distribution, decompilation or reproduction outside intended use is prohibited except where mandatorily permitted by law.

Content that you or your purpose enterprise post remains in your or its area of responsibility. You grant the Operator the simple usage rights required to provide the platform (hosting, backup, technical processing, display within your roles).

Translations and "lex scripta" texts are subject to separate approval processes (e.g. Lex-Scripta-Guardian, consular approval). Unapproved changes must not be published as binding versions.

11. Availability, maintenance and changes

We endeavour to operate without disruption but do not guarantee — unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing — any specific availability or response time.

Maintenance, security updates, migrations and further development may lead to temporary restrictions. We inform you in advance of planned maintenance windows where reasonable.

We may adjust functions, add or discontinue modules where legitimate interests (security, legal compliance, technical development) require this and users are not unreasonably disadvantaged.

We notify you of material changes to these Terms of Service where possible via the platform or by e-mail. If you object you may end use; continued use after they take effect constitutes acceptance if we have pointed this out.

12. Liability and warranty

The Operator is liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence and for injury to life, body or health. For slight negligence the Operator is liable only for breach of essential contractual obligations (cardinal duties), limited to foreseeable, typical damage.

For wallet losses, misdirected transfers on XRPL, network outages, phishing, compromised end devices or actions of third parties (e.g. Xaman, XRPL network, Stripe, LiveKit) the Operator is liable only within mandatory statutory liability.

Data exports, backups and local browser storage (localStorage) may be lost; you are advised to back up important content additionally where commercially required.

Claims from warranty and damages expire — to the extent permitted by law — within twelve months of knowledge of the damage, but at latest three years from occurrence, unless mandatory longer periods apply.

13. Term, suspension and termination

Use runs for an indefinite period while your access exists. You may end use at any time (logout, deletion request per privacy policy).

We may temporarily suspend or permanently end access where justified grounds exist, in particular abuse, security risk, breach of these terms, end of membership contract or legal obligation.

After termination, data may be deleted or archived per the privacy policy and statutory retention duties.

14. Applicable law, jurisdiction and language

Austrian law applies excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG), to the extent mandatory consumer protection law of the consumer's country of residence does not prevail.

If the user is an entrepreneur, exclusive place of jurisdiction for all disputes arising from or in connection with this platform is Wörgl, Austria; the Operator may also sue at the user's general place of jurisdiction.

Contract language is German. Translations serve comprehension only; in case of doubt the German version is authoritative.
